Claire-Louise Bode is in her second season as graduate assistant coach at the University of Louisville. Bode arrived in Louisville after a very successful four-year collegiate rowing career at Ohio State where she won two straight NCAA championships and was a two-time First Team CRCA All-America selections. Bode is pursuing a master's degree in applied geography.

A native of Johannesburg, South Africa, Bode was a key member of the Buckeyes' national championship teams in 2013 and 2014. While in Columbus, she also won two Big Ten championships in the varsity eight boat, was a two-time First Team CRCA All-Central Region honoree, was named as the 2013 Ohio State Female Athlete of the Year and the 2013 Big Ten Athlete of the Year.
