Men's Basketball ACC Tournament Update
March 11, 2020 | Men's Basketball
 Cardinal Fans,
Â
Due to recent growing concerns surrounding the COVID-19 virus, the ACC has made a decision similar to the one made earlier today by the NCAA. Per the ACC:
Â
"In light of the rapidly changing landscape regarding COVID-19, the latest developments nationally from health authorities and today's announcement by the NCAA COVID-19 Advisory Panel, the ACC will alter the remainder of the ACC Tournament. After consultation with the league's presidents and athletic directors, it was determined that beginning Thursday, March 12, all games will be played with only essential tournament personnel, limited school administrators and student-athlete guests, broadcast television and credentialed media members present."
Â
With this in mind, all previously announced fan and alumni events surrounding the tournament in Greensboro this weekend have also been cancelled. Although it will not be an official event hosted by the university, if you have made the trip to Greensboro and plan to stay for the remainder of the tournament, please join fellow Cardinal Fans at Natty Greene's Downtown (345 S Elm St, Greensboro, NC Â 27401) to watch the games.
Â
For tickets purchased through the UofL ticket office, refunds will be issued according to the ACC policy as follows: the face value of tickets for sessions scheduled for Thursday, Friday and Saturday will be refunded. Â These refunds will be processed by our office and credited to the original method of payment.Â
We are blessed to have a passionate fan base who follow the Cardinals during postseason play and are grateful for your understanding during this time of uncertainty.
