Louisville-Wake Forest Postgame Notes

SERIES
• Louisville owns a 5-2 advantage in the all-time series with Wake Forest, which dates back to 1958.
• The Cardinals have won three of their four games against the Demon Deacons since joining the ACC.
• Louisville is 2-0 all-time at home against Wake Forest with both wins coming at the KFC Yum! Center.

TEAM
• UofL is 128-16 all-time at the KFC Yum! Center, which is in its eighth season as the home for the Cardinals.
• Through its first 21 games this season, Louisville has produced 39 runs of 8-0 or better, including two such runs Saturday against Wake Forest – a 14-0 run in the first half and a 13-0 run in the second half.
• The 96 points were the second most this season for the Cardinals and the highest total against an ACC foe since their 106-51 win at Pittsburgh last season (Jan. 24, 2017).
            o Louisville is 189-10 over the last 17 seasons when scoring 80 or more points (9-0 this season).
• The Cardinals shot 50.7 percent from the field (36-of-71) in Saturday's win marking the fifth time this season they have finished at 50 percent or better from the field.

• UofL finished with a season-high 12 steals on Saturday, the highest total overall since finishing with 12 steals against North Florida on Nov. 21, 2015.
• The 20 assists for Louisville on Saturday marked the second highest total in a game this season behind only the 21 assists in the win against Bryant on Dec. 11, 2017.
• Louisville attempted a season-high 71 shots from the field against Wake Forest, the highest total overall since finishing with 78 field goal attempts against Texas Southern on Dec. 10, 2016.
• With their 10 three-pointers on Saturday, the Cardinals have connected on 10 or more three-pointers four times this season.
• The Cardinals have attempted 25 or more three-pointers seven times this season, including Saturday's victory against the Demon Deacons when they finished with 25 attempts from beyond the three-point arc.
• The seven turnovers for Louisville against Wake marked the second fewest of the season for UofL behind only the six turnovers against Bryant.
            o The Cardinals have finished with 10 or fewer turnovers six times this season.
• The 20 turnovers by Wake Forest are the second most by a Louisville opponent this season behind only the 21 turnovers by Siena on Dec. 6, 2017.

PLAYER
• Sophomore V.J. King led the Cardinals in scoring for just the second time this season finishing with 15 points in Saturday's win over Wake Forest.
            o King reached double-figures in scoring for the 15th time in his career, including the eighth time this season.
            o The seven made field goals for King were a season high total.
            o King dished out a career-best four assists, one better than his previous high of three.
• Senior Quentin Snider matched King with his 15 points while leading Louisville in scoring for the sixth time this season.
            o Snider registered his 52nd career double-figure scoring outing, including the 15th this season.
            o With a trio of three-point baskets on Saturday, Snider has connected for three or more three-pointers five times this season.
• Junior Deng Adel added 14 points in the win over Wake Forest and has reached double-figures in scoring in 23 of his last 24 games dating back to last season.
            o Adel has scored 10 or more points in 14 straight games and 45 times overall in his three collegiate seasons.
            o Adel added four assists on Saturday marking the 12th time in his career he has dished out four or more assists, including the seventh this season.
• Sophomore Dwayne Sutton scored a season-high 13 points on Saturday marking his first double-figure scoring outing since joining the Cardinals.
            o Sutton also set season highs in field goals made (four) and attempted (eight) as well as free throws made (five) and free throws attempted (six) while matching a season-high with two steals.
• Freshman Darius Perry equaled a season-high with a trio of three-point baskets matching the total he achieved George Mason on Nov. 12, 2017.
            o Perry added career highs in rebounds (three) and steals (three).
