Louisville-Albany Postgame Notes

SERIES
•   Wednesday's game marked the first ever meeting between Louisville and Albany on the hardwood.
•   Albany is only the second America East foe the Cardinals have ever faced. Louisville has a 3-0 record against American East member Hartford.

TEAM
•   Wednesday's game against Albany was the fourth and final contest for the Cardinals in the Houzz Gotham Classic presented by TicketIQ, a five-team, round-robin event. Three of Louisville's games were played in the KFC Yum! Center (86-60 win vs. Siena on Dec. 6, 102-59 win vs. Bryant on Dec. 11) and one in New York's Madison Square Garden (81-72 win vs. Memphis on Dec. 16).
•   A year after Massachusetts won all four of its games to claim the 2016 Gotham Classic title, Louisville equaled that result to clinch the 2017 edition of the event.
•   The Cardinals have won 62 of their last 64 non-conference games at the KFC Yum! Center.
•   Louisville is 123-16 all-time at the KFC Yum! Center, which is in its eighth season as the home for the Cardinals.
•   Through its first 11 games this season, Louisville has produced 22 runs of 8-0 or better, including one such run against Albany – an 8-0 run in the first half.
•   Leading the nation in blocked shots (8.5 per game) entering the night, Louisville swatted 10 shots in the win over Albany marking the fourth time this season they have finished with 10 or more blocks in a game.
•   The Cardinals finished with just seven turnovers in Wednesday's win, the fourth time this season they have committed nine or less turnovers in a game.
•   With nine three-pointers against Albany, Louisville has connected for nine or more three-point baskets five times this season, including each of the last four games.
•   Wednesday's game marked just the third time in 11 games this season the Cardinals have been outrebounded but Louisville is 3-0 in those games.

PLAYER
•   Senior Quentin Snider registered his eighth double-figure scoring performance of the season and 45th in his collegiate career with Wednesday's team-leading 19 points.
•   Snider has scored 13 or more points in six straight games. During that stretch, he's averaged 16.5 points per game.
•   Wednesday's game marked the third time this season Snider has led the Cardinals in scoring.
•   With a trio of three-pointers against Albany, Snider has made three or more three-pointers in three straight games.
•   Sophomore Ryan McMahon matched a career high with 15 points equaling the total previously achieved against Pittsburgh on Jan. 24, 2017.
•   McMahon also equaled a career high with his five three-pointers, which he first accomplished against Pittsburgh on Jan. 24, 2017.
•   The eight three-point attempts by McMahon were a career high total, one more than the seven attempts versus Pitt on Jan. 24, 2017.
•   Junior Deng Adel registered the 35th double-figure scoring outing of his career, including the 10th in 11 games this season with Wednesday's 13-point effort.
•   Senior Anas Mahmoud equaled a career high with his nine blocked shots matching the total achieved against Siena on Dec. 6, 2017.
•   Mahmoud, who entered the game ranked fourth in the nation in blocked shots at 4.0 per game, has swatted five or more shots in five games this season.
•   The team-leading nine rebounds for sophomore Dwayne Sutton finished just one shy of his season-high total on the glass.
