- The Cardinals went 10:39 of the first half without a field goal before Francisco Garcia nailed a three pointer.
- Louisville was held to a season-low 22 first half points. It's the fewest first-half total since scoring 17 in a 56-50 loss at Saint Louis on February 22, 2002.
- Senior Kendall Dartez tallied a career-best nine blocked shots, besting previous high of three against Ohio State on January 4, 2003. It's the most blocks since Marvin Stone had five against TCU on January 18, 2003. Dartez's nine blocks is tied for the third-highest single-game total in school history, matching the total of Pervis Ellison on Feb. 28, 1987.
- Sophomore Francisco Garcia buried five 3-point field goals, the sixth time in his career that he has connected on three or more trifectas in a game. He also tied his career-high (24 vs. Marquette on February 27, 2003 and Cincinnati on February 5, 2003)
- The Cardinals' 18 blocked shots set a new school record, breaking the previous mark of 17 set against Kentucky on January 1, 1995.
- Louisville held Holy Cross to 40 points, which the fewest points scored by an opponent since defeating Cincinnati, 51-37, on January 7, 1984. The 56 points scored by Louisville was the fewest points in a win since the Cards tallied 54 against Rutgers on January 26, 1983.
