
Louisville Men's Basketball Falls To South Alabama, 72-65

MOBILE, Ala.(AP) - Guard Ravonte Dantzler scored 16 points and hit 4-of-6 three point shots to lead South Alabama to a 72-65 win over Louisville in the Coors Classic Saturday night.
Dantzler was named the game's most valuable player as South Alabama (7-3) extended its home winning streak to 16 games.
South Alabama was ahead most of the game. The biggest lead for the Jaguars was 60-47 with 6:44 to play.
Virgil Stanescu scored 14 points for South Alabama and reserve Emmett Thomas had 13. Thomas was seeing his first action after missing three games with a hamstring injury.
Louisville (2-6) was led by Marques Maybin with 15 points, while Luke Whitehead had 10.
