Shelley Tewell is an Associate Director of Academic Services, providing academic support for the football team.
She has worked at UofL for eight years and joined the Thorntons Academic Center of Excellence in October 2019. Prior to joining Athletics, she was an Academic Counselor Sr. in the College of Business and began her career at UofL as the Program Coordinator for First Year Initiatives.Â
Born and raised in Louisville, she earned her undergraduate degree from Western Kentucky University in 2011. She then earned a Master of Education from UofL in 2013. As a graduate student, she served as an intern in Academic Services for Athletics for the 2012-13 academic year.
Shelley is a member of Omega Phi Alpha sorority and National Association of Academic and Student-Athlete Development Professionals (N4A).Â
