Denise Murphy has worked as a member of the Cardinal Football program since joining the staff as a work study student in 1988. Having served in various capacities within the football office, she has held the position of Administrative Assistant to the Head Coach since 1998.

She has been a full-time member of the football staff for eight head coaches.

She attended the University of Louisville on the Kenady Lynne Hendershot Memorial Scholarship and graduated in 1992 with a degree in Fine Arts (Graphic Design). She graduated from Southern High School.

She is a lifetime resident of the city of Louisville
