In 2006-07, Robbie finished fifth in the 3-meter and seventh in the 1-meter board at the BIG EAST. He qualified for the NCAA Zone B Diving meet for the third year in a row for the Cardinals. He set the pool record in the 1-meter board against Cincinnati. Highlights included wins at West Virginia, Cincinnati and Wright State. As a sophomore, Robbie went to diving's NCAA Zone B. He finished fourth in the 1-meter and sixth in the 3-meter at his first BIG EAST Championship and is a consistent point scorer for the Cardinals in dual meets. He came to U of L midway through the season in 2004-05 and immediately made a splash. The St. Xavier graduate swept both boards against Kenyon and Wright State. He won the 3-meter versus Evansville. He was the Conference USA champion in the 1-meter, the 3-meter and the platform and earned Conference USA Diver of the Meet. He began diving at Louisville Area Diving with Coach Mike Zehnder at the age of 12. He advanced to the U.S Diving Age Group nationals his next six years of diving. As a 15-year-old, he made the USA International team and traveled to Germany and Holland. His best finish at nationals was 7th place on platform in his last year of age group diving.
Personal: He is the son of Emery and Lynn Lewis. He is a nursing major. He was born Dec. 30, 1985.
