2023-24:Â Paige missed much of her senior season battling injury. She swam the 200 free versus Notre Dame and then competed at the Ohio State Invitational. She went 4:30.46 in the 500 free, 1:53.96 in the 200 Free, and 2:03.97 in the 200 back. She went 1:52.37 in the 200 free against Missouri and went 10:18.78 in the 1000 free and 5:00.46 in the 500 free against Kentucky. At the Notre Dame Last Chance Meet, she posted a 4:58.90 to finish second in the 500 free and was second in the 200 free final, clocking in at 1:54.25. She won the 2024 Innovator of the Year at the NIL Summit in Atlanta in the Summer of 2024.
2021-22: Paige McCormick added depth to the distance events for the Cardinals. At ACCs, she scored 30 points. She finished 13th in the 500 free (4:48.59), 16th in the 400 IM (4:18.61) and 20th in the 1650 freestyle (16:45.48). During the dual meet season, she was second in the 1000 (10:35.12) against Xavier. She was fifth in the 1000 against Indiana with a time of 10:01.40 and was sixth in the 400 IM (4:19.36). In the meet with Kentucky, she touched fourth in the 1650 with a time of 16:33.10. She was second in the 1000 in the meet with Cincinnati (9:53.08). She went 16:32.41 at the Tennessee Last Chance meet in the 1650 freestyle. An excellent student, Paige was named to the ACC Academic Honor and the University of Louisville AD Honor Roll.
2020-21: McCormick posted stellar performances during her rookie campaign with the Cardinals. At the ACC Championships, she finished 13th in the 400 individual medley (4:16.15), 18th in the mile (16:45.10), and 28th in the 500 freestyle (4:52.16). During the dual meet season, she finished third in the 1000 freestyle against Cincinnati and registered a trio of sixth-place showings against Kentucky.
Prep: A native of Hudson, Ohio, McCormick suits up for the Cardinals following a standout club career with the Hudson Explorer Aquatic Team. There, she achieved several Junior National cuts and two Olympic Trials standards. An 11-time Junior National finalist, she had four top-15 finishes at the Speedo Junior National Championships in Summer 2019. At Juniors East in 2019, she finished sixth in the 400 individual medley and 15th in the 200 backstroke. McCormick also attended the USA Swimming National Select Camp and the Zone Select Camp. During her career at Hudson High School, she was an eight-time individual Ohio State Championship finalist and won the 500 freestyle in 2019. McCormick, who also earned NISCA and USA Swimming Scholastic All-American honors, holds best times of 4:14.62 in the 400 individual medley, 1:58.98 in the 200 backstroke, 4:48.00 in the 500 freestyle, and 9:52.41 in the 1000 freestyle.
