Junior: Jaclyn swam her lifetime best at the BIG EAST in the 100-back. She showed improvements in all of her events by the end of last season. She helped the Cardinals in the backstroke events and as a member of the relay teams.
Sophomore: Louisville native Jaclyn Steier lent her talents in a variety of events, attaining career-best times in the 200-free against conference rival Notre Dame and the 50-free at the 2008 BIG EAST Championships.
Freshman: As a freshman, Jaclyn set a lifetime best in both the 100- and 200-back at the BIG EAST.
Prep: She came to U of L from Sacred Heart Academy where she swam for U of L alum Scott Miller. She was sixth in the 100-free in the Kentucky State High School Championships. She also helped Sacred Heart win the 2003 State High School Championships. She swam for the Lakeside Seahawks for coach for Mike DeBoor.
Personal: She is the daughter of Chip and Sherry Steier. She is majoring in business. She was born on June 7, 1988.
