Sophomore: In Noble's sophomore year, he made the A-final in all of his events at his first BIG EAST Championships. He had a 2nd place finish in the 200-backstroke in 1:44.71 earning him an All BIG EAST performer recognition. In the 200-IM, Noble was the fastest Cardinal in the event placing 4th in a time of 1:47.04. He was also one of two Cardinals in the A-final of the 400-IM where he finished 7th in 3:56.52, Noble had a faster prelim time of 3:54.70 in that event. At the Purdue Invite, he gained momentum for the season placing 3rd in the 100-backstroke in 49.52 where he was the second fastest Cardinal in the event. He also swam the 200-IM for a 4th place finish in 1:50.71, the 400-IM for 10th 3:58.57, and the 200-backstroke for 6th place in 1:49.07. Noble qualified to compete at the Charlotte UltraSwim for a highest finish of 21st in 2:09.15 in the 200-meter IM. He also swam the 100-meter backstroke for 25th in 57.40, the 200-meter backstroke for 33rd in 2:11.17, and the 400-meter IM in a time of 4:56.57.
Red Shirted Sophomore Year
Freshman: Noble transferred to UofL from Auburn. He was an Olympic Trial qualifier in the 200- and 400-IM. Prep: A five-star recruit by Swimming World Magazine, Noble swam for the CSP (Clay Shaw Park) Tideriders Club. He competed in the 200-IM at the 2010 USA Swimming National Championships and finished 50th in 2:06.24. A national selection camp member, he was named to the 2009-10 USA National Youth Team. He was a four time Illinois state qualifier.
Personal: Son of Blaine and Kim Noble. Born Nov. 16, 1991. Major is sports administration.
