Ladybirds
The University of Louisville Ladybirds dance team has won 20 national titles in the last 23 years including the last four years, at the National Cheerleading/Dance Association Championships (NCA/NDA) in Daytona Beach, Florida. The Ladybirds secured victories at The Universal Dance Association (UDA) College Nationals in 1995 and 1997. Ladybirds have also won NDA College National Titles for the following years: 2002, 2003, 2004, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2014, 2015, 2016 (double title), 2017 (double title), 2018 (double title) and 2019. The U of L Ladybirds made program history by clinching Double National Championship titles not once, but the last three consecutive years in Division 1A Team Performance and Hip Hop. The Ladybirds have long been successful, placing in the top five in their national competitions every year for the last 27 years. The U of L Ladybirds are the only college dance team in the county known by its own iconic name. Ladybirds are known for their precision, athleticism, performance quality and strong work ethic. The Ladybirds Dance Team is a true representation of the excellence that every athlete at the University of Louisville embodies. The group is under the direction of Sheryl Knight.

We are looking for well-rounded dance athletes who are driven, athletic, and committed to continuing the legacy of the Louisville Ladybirds program.
