Senior: In her final season as a Cardinal, Moser posted season best times in all of her events at the IU Invitational. She finished 19th in the 1650 free with a time of 16:55.78, while qualifying for finals in the 500 free to finish 24th with a 5:00.31. In the 200 free, she registered a time of 1:52.76. Throughout the dual meet season, Moser scored in the Cards victories over Xavier and Northwestern, including a fourth place finish in the 1000 free against Xavier.
Junior: Moser served as an integral member of the Cardinals’ distance squad throughout her junior season. At the ACC Championships, she won a swim-off for a spot in the finals of the 500 free, placing 24th with a 4:54.83. She also put together a solid performance in the 1650 free at the Winter National Championships (16:49.05). In the dual meet season, she scored points for the Cards in the 1000 free against Tennessee with a time of 10:30.21.
Sophomore: Totaling 33 points at the ACC Championships during her sophomore season, Moser proved to be a valuable asset to the Cardinal distance squad. At ACCs, she finished 10th in the 500 free (4:46.11), 13th in the 1650 free (16:39.64), and 23rd in the 200 free (1:48.48). At the Arena Pro Swim Series in Atlanta, she competed in the 200-meter free (2:07.91), 400-meter free (4:25.27), and finished 12th in the 1500-meter free with a time of 17:31.28. She also competed at the US Open Championships, swimming to a time of 4:24.01 in the 400-meter free. At the UofL Invitational, Moser posted three top-eight finishes, placing fourth in the 1650 free (16:37.97), sixth in the 200 free (1:49.98), and sixth in the 500 free (4:51.63). Against Xavier, she raced to a first place finish in the 500 free and took second in the 1000 free.
Freshman: Moser swam distance for the Cardinals as a freshman. At ACCs, she finalled in the 1650 free, finishing 14th with a time of 16:40.59. She also swam the 500 free (4:54.72) and the 200 free (1:49.71). Highlights from the dual season including, finishing second in the 1650 against Cincinnati and at the UofL Invite, where she also swam the 200 free and finished fourth. At the Arena Pro Series in Indy, she was a finalist in the 800-meter free, where she finished 20th with a time of 9:14.43. Her leadership skills landed her as the swimming representative on the Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC).
Prep: Emily Moser joins a cast of swimmers from Indiana on the Cardinals roster as she is a graduate of Fishers High School in Fishers, Ind. where she swam for Jay Chambers. Her club was the FAST Tigers, also coached by Jay Chambers. She is a two-time state runner-up in the 500 free and has been named All-State (2013, 2014) and an All-American twice (2013, 2014). Moser was the Fishers team captain and was a summer Junior and winter Senior National qualifier in 2013 and 2014. She was named all-conference in 2012, 2013, 2014. She also brings a dedication to the classroom to Louisville after being on the Honor Roll, a member of NHS and a Scholastic All-American. Her best times are 1:50.55 in the 200 freestyle and 4:48.80 in the 500 freestyle.
