
Kennedy Finishes in a Tie for Third at the All-American

HOUSTON, Texas – University of Louisville men's golfer Max Kennedy shot a three-round total of 5-under and claimed his fourth-straight top-10 finish at the All-American Intercollegiate Tuesday at the Golf Club of Houston.
As a team, the Cardinals placed in a tie for second place with No. 14 Tennessee. Louisville opened the final round with an 8-shot lead but carded a 4-over-par 292. The Cardinals still finished at 5-under-par for the tournament and were just four shots off the lead.
Kennedy finished in third place after shooting 69-69-73=211 to post the best finish of his career. After shooting rounds of 3-under-par on Monday, Kennedy shot a 1-over-par 73.
The Ireland native finished has finished no lower than ninth place in his last four tournaments, including placing third and fourth in the last two tournaments.
Sebastian Moss shot a 4-under-par 68 in the first round and closed with consecutive 73s to tie for eighth place at 2-under-par.
Mads Roddik posted his best finish in a Louisville uniform, finishing in a tie for 14th at 1-over-par. The transfer shot 69-76-72=217 to finish in the top 20 for the first time.
Jiri Zuska was the fourth player to finish in the top 25 for the Cards after he shot 72-70-77=219 to place 21st, while Pierce Grieve tied for 94th.
The Cardinals return to the course on April 10-11 at the Aggie Invitational in College Station, Texas.
