Zuska and Tenuta Named Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholars

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — University of Louisville men's golfers Jiri Zuska and Nick Tenuta were named 2021-22 Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholars for NCAA Division I on Thursday.
To be eligible for Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholar nomination, an individual must be a sophomore, junior or senior both academically and athletically in NCAA Division I, II, III, and NAIA, or receiving their Associate's Degree and in their last year of athletic eligibility in the NJCAA. In addition, they must participate in 50 percent of their team's competitive rounds, have a stroke average under 76.0 in NCAA Division I, under 78.0 in NCAA Division II, under 79.0 in NCAA Division III, under 78.0 in NAIA, and under 77.0 in NJCAA, and maintain a minimum cumulative career grade-point average of 3.2. A recipient must also be of high moral character and be in good standing at his college or university.
440 NCAA Division I athletes from 157 schools earned 2021-22 Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholar honors.
Zuska earned All-Atlantic Coast Conference accolades after leading the Cardinals to the NCAA Regional where they finished in seventh place. The native of Kladno, Czech Republic was the top player with a 71.93 stroke average and was best on the squad with four finishes in the top 10. He posted 13 rounds in the 60s and 23 shooting par of below. He finished a season best second at the William Tucker and fourth at the Watersound Invitational.
Tenuta, who hails from Mt. Prospect, Ill., appeared in seven events and recorded a 73.52 stroke average last season. He registered a 19th-place finish at the Aggie Invitational – his best of the season.
