Zuska Posts Another Top-20 Finish

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Senior Jiri Zuska tied for 17th to lead the University of Louisville men's golf team into a tie for ninth at the General Hackler Championship on Monday.
The Cardinals fired an even-par 288 during the final round to finish in a tie for ninth with Liberty at 6-over par.
Auburn took home the tournament title followed by South Carolina in second and East Tennessee in third place. After firing a 302 on Sunday and completing the delayed second round on Monday, the Cardinals posted their best round of the event as the course warmed up.
Zuska led the Cardinals with a top-20 finish by carding a 3-under-par 213. He opened with a 73 and followed with a 68 and 72 on Monday to pace the Cardinals. It's Zuska's eighth top 20 finish this season.
Chris Francoeur shot 69 on Monday to place in a tie for 26th with a 1-under-par 215, while Max Kennedy tied for 40th after carding a 2-over-par 218 over the two days. Sebastian Moss tied for 69th by shooting an 11-over227 and Piece Grieve tied for 82nd after shooting 74 on Monday to conclude with a 15-over 231.
The Cardinals return to action on March 27-28 at the John Hayt Invitational in Ponte Vedra, Fla.
