Zuska Finishes in a Tie for Fourth at the Watersound

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Jiri Zuska of the University of Louisville men's golf team fired a final round 70 to finish in a tie for fourth place at the Watersound Invitational at the at Shark's Tooth Golf Club in Panama City Beach, Fla.
Facing a difficult field, the Cardinals finished in ninth place in the 14-team field after shooting a final round 3-under-par – one of only four teams to shoot under par for the day.
Georgia Tech won the tournament at 15-under-par, while Alabama was second at 10-under and Notre Dame closed in third.
Zuska posted his third top-five finish of the season after shooting 72-70-70=212 to finish at 4-under-par and 10 shots off the lead. Canon Claycomb of Alabama took home medalist honors after shooting 14-under-par.
Zuska carded four birdies during his final round, including birdies on No. 17 and No. 18 to earn another solid finish.
Chris Francoeur posted a top-20 finish after shooting a final round of 71 to end the tournament with a 1-under-par 216, while Nick Tenuta matched Francoeur's final round to move up into a tie for 38th.
Walker Franklin shot 75 and Max Kennedy carded 73 on Tuesday to both tie for 44th place.
The Cardinals will compete at the General Hackler Intercollegiate on March 13-14 in Myrtle Beach, S.C.
