
Zuska Posts Fifth Straight Top-10 Finish; Cards Tie for Fifth Place

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Jiri Zuska posted a final round 1-under par to help guide the University of Louisville men's golf team into a tie for fifth place at the Sea Best Invitational in Jacksonville on Tuesday.
Zuska finished 3-over-par at the Par-70 TPC Sawgrass Dye's Valley Course to claim his fifth consecutive Top-10 finish and sixth straight Top-20 performance this season.
After shooting 288 as a team for the first two rounds, the Cardinals responded with a 282 to move up two spots into a tie for fifth place with the College of Charleston. Florida won the tournament at 6-over-par, while Liberty ended the day in second place at 12-over-par.
Zuska fired the lone round under-par for the Cardinals during the two-day event on Tuesday with his 69. The senior recorded five birdies during his round and closed his opening nine holes at 2-under-par.
Chris Francoeur recorded his second top-10 finish since joining the program this season, shooting three consecutive 71's over the two days to tie with Zuska for 10th-place overall.
Max Kennedy tied for 46th place after carding a 10-over-par 220 and Hugh O'Hare tied for 50th place after finishing at 11-over par. Sebastian Moss tied for 53rd place after his 12-over-par 222.
The Cardinals return to action on Feb. 20-22 at the Watersound Invitational in Watersound, Fla.
