Cards Begin Spring Season in Seventh at the Sea Best Invitational

LOUISVILLE, Ky. -Â The University of Louisville men's golf team finished in seventh place after 36 holes of the Sea Best Invitational at TPC Sawgrass in Jacksonville on Monday.
The Cardinals are nine shots behind the College of Charleston, which shot a 567. Campbell is second at 8-over-par and Liberty is third at 9-over-par.

The Cardinals had three players sit in the top 30 after the first two rounds of action, with Chris Francoeur leading the way. The senior fired a 2-over-par 71-71=142 to stand in a tie for 13th place heading into Tuesday's final round of action. The Rhode Island transfer recorded seven birdies on the day.Â
Jiri Zuska carded a 4-over-par 144 to place in a tie for 21st place after 36 holes. Max Kennedy was the third player in the top 30 after he ended the day at 5-over-par with a 74-71=145.Â
Hugh O'Hare tied for 60th place after his 10-over-par 150 and Sebastian Moss closed his round in a tie for 65th place after shooting 77-74=151.
The Cardinals look to gain ground on the leaders tomorrow morning with an 8 a.m. tee time.Â
