Men's Tennis Welcomes Natan Rodrigues

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – University of Louisville men's tennis coach Rodrigo da Silva has announced that Natan Rodrigues has signed a National Letter of Intent to join the Cardinals in January 2022.
"We are super excited to welcome a player of Natan's caliber to the University of Louisville," said da Silva. "He is arguably one of the highest-ranked recruits in program history and we can't wait for him to join the team in January."

Rodrigues, who hails from Salvador Bahia, Brazil, has reached as high as No. 6 in the International Tennis Federation (ITF) Junior Rankings. He has built an impressive resume over the past five years, amassing six tournament titles in singles including the Bahia Juniors Cup and the 32nd Londrina Junior Cup in 2018.
Additionally, Rodrigues has collected 11 doubles tournament championships and reached the doubles finals of the Roland Garros Junior Championship in 2020.

"I chose Louisville because they treated me very well and to have a Brazilian head coach is incredible and I think it's going to help me a lot," said Rodrigues.
UofL will open the 2022 spring season in January at the Bass-Rudd Tennis Center. The full schedule will be released in November.
