
Cardinals Summer Festival Cancelled, Second Event Aug. 16

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Due to anticipated inclement weather, the University of Louisville's Cardinals Summer Festival which had been scheduled for 7 p.m. tonight (Friday, July 29) at the University of Louisville Golf Club has been cancelled. Thunderstorms are forecast during the outdoor event and concern for fan safety caused the cancellation.
Fans can mark their calendar now for the next scheduled Cardinals Summer Festival on Tuesday, August 16th to be held at Captain's Quarters Riverside Grille in Prospect, Ky. The Festival will include raffle giveaways, season tickets availability and appearances by UofL coaches, staff, and the national champion UofL spirit squads and Cardinal Bird mascot, Louie. The Festival is free and open to the public with a full menu and drinks available for purchase. Additional information will be announced in the coming days.
