Cards register four wins on Friday

Senior Sean Donohue picked up wins in singles and doubles to lead the University of Louisville men's tennis team on the first day of Vanderbilt's Commodore Scramble Friday.

The Cards registered a doubles win to start the day as Donohue and freshman Parker Wynn defeated Vanderbilt's Cameron Klinger and Billy Rowe 8-6.

Freshman Fredrik Moe picked up a 6-1, 7-6(5) win over Belmont's Gibson Parker. Donohue beat Middle Tennessee's Gian Issa 6-3, 7-6 (6). Sophomore Michael Quang topped Belmont's Stephan Goldman 4-6, 6-3, 7-5.

Tournament action will continue on Saturday morning.
