Louisville Fall Invitational Results 
LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The University of Louisville men's tennis team concluded the 2013 Louisville Fall Invitational with four singles wins and a doubles victory Sunday at the Bass-Rudd Tennis Center. Junior Michael Lippens, sophomore Jeffrey Brown and freshman Eric Bonfre were selected to the All-Tournament team while junior Luis Elizondo was named Tournament MVP.
"I am happy with this tournament as a whole," said UofL head coach Rex Ecarma. "These types of weekends will develop their mental toughness and their ability to perform despite discomfort. We won almost every doubles match except one this weekend - one of our pre-tournament goals was to do well in doubles."
Elizondo and Brown teamed to beat Wright State's Dan Hyman and Kirill Kultinov 6-1, 6-0 in doubles. Lippens defeated Ricardo Pineda 6-1, 6-4 while Bonfre picked up a 6-1, 6-3 win over Myles Harris. Sophomore Alex Gornet and Amaury Derognat each registered 6-2, 6-2 victories over their opponents from Wright State.
"The juniors and Amaury Derognat showed a higher level of leadership and the team really supported each other a lot this weekend," said Ecarma. "They deserve to feel good after this effort and should build momentum for next weekend's Virginia and Purdue Invitationals."
