
Dietrich Named National Champion in 200-Fly

Freshman Doug Dietrich was named the 18-under national champion in the 200-fly as the ConocoPhillips US Short Course Nationals came to close at the Georgia Tech Aquatic Center.
In the long course events held in conjunction with the US Nationals on Sunday, the University of Louisville made one NCAA A-cut and two B-cuts. Pedro Oliveira made an A-cut in the 200-fly with a time of 1:58.34. Rafal Kuchta made a B-cut with a time of 2:00.71. Vali Preda made a B-cut in the 100-breast with a time of 1:01.93 (LCM).
For the women, Amanda Henleben posted a lifetime best in the 800-free with a time of 8:59.13. Whitney Campbell went 26.13 in the 50-free.
