MONTGOMERY, Ala. - The University of Louisville men's tennis team fell 4-0 to William & Mary Friday in the consolation bracket of the Blue-Gray Invitational in Montgomery, Ala.
"We were outplayed by William & Mary today," said Ecarma. "We are definitely looking for some answers. We've shuffled our lineup several times. Slavko Radman is doing his job as the team captain, but he needs some support from his teammates."
The match started with singles play. William & Mary's No. 79-ranked Colin O'Brien defeated Damar Johnson 6-1, 2-6, 7-5 at No. 2. Keziel Juneau topped Robert Rotaru 5-7, 6-3, 6-1 at No. 3. Alez Zuck picked up a 6-1, 6-3 win over David Simon at the No. 5 spots. Richard Wardell defeated James McArthur 6-3, 6-4 at No. 6.
With the match secured in singles, the team did not play the doubles point.
