
Vali Preda Places 15th in the NCAA 200-Breaststroke Prelims

University of Louisville freshman swimmer, Vali Preda, placed 15th in the 200-breaststroke Saturday afternoon at the 2006 NCAA Championship at Georgia Tech in Atlanta, Ga.
Swimming in his second event of the meet, Preda posted a time of 1:58.65 and will swim this evening in the consols.
"He earned the right to score points for our team," said U of L head coach Arthur Albiero. "I am very proud of his effort and this great accomplishment to finish his freshman season at the NCAA Championship."
