Men's Tennis Falls to Texas Tech

Corpus Christi, Texas - The U of L men's tennis team fell to Texas Tech 4-3 in the annual Corpus Christi Invitational.
The Cards began by winning the doubles point as Tvrtko Kujundzic and Joachim Lien combined to defeat Richard Crabtree and Ben Gudzelak 8-6 at the top seed and Brent McCombe and Cody Conley beat John Walker and Borut Martincevic 8-4 at No. 2.
In singles action for Louisville, Lien defeated Royce Ramey 6-3, 6-4 at the two-spot and Oliver Cantrell defeated Walker in straight sets 6-4, 6-2 at No. 5.
Texas Tech picked up singles wins at Nos. 1, 3, 4 and 6.
The No. 6 position was the final decider of the match with both teams tied at three. Tech's Costa Yiannakopolous won in three-sets over Alex Siversten, 3-6, 7-6, 6-4.
Louisville falls to 12-4 on the season.
