Sober C-USA Player of the Week

Louisville, Ky. - For the third time this season, Louisville's Marju Sober earns Conference USA Player of the Week honors for the period ending February 4.

Sober averaged 23.5 points for the week and was a perfect 6-of-6 from the charity stripe. She shot 61.1 percent from behind the arc, including a 7-of-9 performance against UAB on Sunday. Sober is the first player in Louisville history to earn player of the week honors three times in a single season. She currently leads the team in scoring averaging 15.5 points per contest and is averaging 18.9 points in conference play alone.
