
Sober Honored Again

Louisville, Ky. - For the second time this season, Louisville's Marju Sober earns Conference USA Player of the Week honors for the period ending January 14.
Sober led the Cardinals to their first two road wins of the season with victories over DePaul and Marquette. She scored a career-high 32 points in the win over DePaul, while tying a school and C-USA record for the most three-pointers hit in a single game with eight. Sober was 11-of-20 from the field, including 8-of-12 from the three-point line.
In the win over Marquette, Sober led the way with 21 points and six assists. For the two games, Sober averaged 26.5 points, 4.0 assists and was a perfect 5-of-5 from the charity stripe. She shot 53 percent from the field and 50 percent from behind the arc.
