LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The University of Louisville men's tennis team did not lose a single match as the Cards swept Austin Peay, IUPUI and Southern Indiana Sunday at the Bass-Rudd Tennis Center. U of L has won six in a row and 10 of its last 11 matches to improve to 13-3 on the year.
Joachim Lien led the team with five wins on the day - three in singles action and two in doubles.
"I wanted to test the team's physical and mental stamina," said head coach Rex Ecarma of the rare triple header. "They applied the strategies that we have been working on in practice. We have a very deep roster and we proved that today."
The Cardinals return to action Friday when they travel to West Lafeyette, Ind., to take on Purdue.
