Ted Schultz was the Cards’ top golfer his final two seasons at UofL, earning All-Metro Conference honors as a senior. He joined the professional ranks in 1987 and has since totaled over $1.5 million on the PGA Tour. He has logged three tournament victories on the PGA Tour, including the 1989 Southern Open, the 1989 Chrysler Team Championship and the 1991 Nissan Los Angeles Open. He holds two local course records, firing a 65 at Hurstbourne Country Club and a 67 at Oxmoor Golf and Steeplechase. He is the professional at the Cardinal Club, the University’s golf course.
