Albert Wagner on the 4-1 win over Wisconsin Green Bay

The No. 38 University of Louisville men's tennis team defeated IUPUI 4-0 in its second match of the day at Bass-Rudd Tennis Center. The Cards move to 12-2 on the year and boast a 10-match winning streak in dual match action.
The Cards took the doubles point with wins in both No. 1 and No. 2 spots to go up 1-0. Albert Wagner and Pally Ray defeated Akshay Verma and Adam Reinhart 6-1 in No. 2 doubles before Alex Gornet and Jeffrey Brown took down Patrick O'Neill and Alex Toliver in No. 1 doubles.
In singles play, Brown swept Verma 6-0, 6-0 in the No. 5 spot to put the Cards up 2-0. Gornet then took down Jac Newis 6-0, 6-1 in No. 2 singles before Wagner clinched the match by defeating Alex Toliver 6-0, 6-2 in the No. 1 spot.
The Cardinals return to action on Friday, March 6 when they open Atlantic Coast Conference play against No. 26 Florida State at 3:30 p.m. at the Bass-Rudd Tennis Center.
