Cards Add Two Radio Network Affiliates

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The University of Louisville has added two far-reaching Kentucky radio stations to its coverage affiliates for football and men's basketball games.
WBGN in Bowling Green (1340 AM) and WKDO in Liberty (98.7 FM) have joined the Cardinal Football and Basketball Networks developed by Nelligan Sports Marketing.
"WBGN is very excited to add Louisville football and men's basketball to our programming and provide South Central Kentucky with a radio outlet for fans to follow the Cardinals," said Norm Haney, WBGN Program Director. "The success of both of these programs speaks for itself and 1340-AM `The Ticket' looks forward to its partnership with the Cardinals and being affiliated with their success in the future."

Nelligan Sports Marketing and UofL have expanded the primary radio footprint of Cardinal sports cover to more than 13 stations across Kentucky and Ohio, with a reach into Indiana and Tennessee as well as nationwide coverage on Sirius XM Satellite Radio.
WHAS Radio (840 AM), a 50,000-watt, clear-channel station in Louisville, serves as the Cardinals' flagship station. The broadcast of some UofL games move to WKRD (790 AM), the all sports Cards Radio station in Louisville, when there is conflicting programming. UofL football and men's basketball games can also be heard for a fee through the CardsTV are of the GoCards.com web site and Cards Mobile app for iOS and Android devices.
