
Louisville Works Overtime To Defeat No. 25 Houston

HOUSTON (AP) - Jazz Covington scored a season-high 30 points to help Louisville beat No. 25 Houston 77-75 in overtime Sunday, snapping the Cougars' 10-game winning streak.
Sara Nord made two free throws with 34 seconds left to give the Lady Cards (11-8, 3-3 Conference USA) the lead, and Covington made one free throw with 27 seconds to go for the final margin.
Nicole Oliver's desperation 3-pointer hit the front of the iron with seven seconds remaining, and Covington got her ninth rebound of the game to secure the win.
Houston (15-3, 4-1) rallied from a six-point deficit in the second half to tie the game on a 3-pointer by Chandi Jones with 31 seconds to go in regulation.
Houston led 26-22 at halftime. The game had 17 lead changes and nine ties.
Sancho Lyttle had 25 points, 15 rebounds and six steals to lead Houston.
Nord added 16 points, including 8-of-8 from the free-throw line, and 13 assists.
