
Men Place 14th at NCAA Southeast Regional Cross Country Championships

GREENVILLE, N.C. - The University of Louisville men's cross country team closed out its season Saturday with a 14th-place finish at the NCAA Southeast Regional Championships in Greenville, N.C.
North Carolina State, ranked 14th nationally, placed five runners in the top 10 to win the event with 38 points. Kentucky placed second with 85 points, followed by William & Mary with 94. Louisville finished with 369 points in the 23-team event.
Kentucky's Thomas Morgan won the 181-runner race with a 10,000-meter time of 29 minutes, 56.2 seconds.
Sophomore Kyle Bowling led the Cardinals with a time of 31:48.1 to place 55th. Sophomore Tim Kaiser finished 74th with a time of 32:15.7, while freshman Wes Seacat was 76th in 32:18.7. Rounding out the Cardinal finishers were junior Curtis Persinger (87th), freshman Chris Davis (117th) and freshman Chris Danks (118th).
