
Late Racer Goal Drops Cards 4-3

MURRAY, KY. - Murray State's Theresa Reedy scored in the 84th minute to give the Racers a 4-3 win over Louisville in women's soccer Thursday night. Reedy came off the bench and added two assists, scoring the game winner just ten seconds after the Cards(2-7-0) Melissa Wark had tied the game at three.
Louisville captain Amber Jolley scored her second goal of the season at 11:23 to put U of L up 1-0.
The Racers countered in the 32nd minute when Brooke Lencki evened the game at one heading into the break. Shelley Corwin put Murray up 2-1 in the 49th minute.
The Cardinals Lisa Martin notched her second of the year on a feed from Jolley at 65:42 to tie the game at two apiece.
The see-saw battle continued when Jamie Roche put the Racers(5-5-1) up 3-2 with just under 75 minutes to go.
Wark scored her team-leading fourth at 83:44 before Reedy won it for the Racers at 83:54.
Freshman keeper Meredith Miller had 10 saves in net, the third game she has had double figure stops this season.
Louisville travels to Birmingham to face UAB on Sunday at 2:00p.m.
